Our paper was just published detailing a new commercial computer-aided design (CAD) tool that was modified to predict the level and distribution of ultraviolet germicidal irradiation in an upper-room system. The CAD tool was a modification of a program that is used widely in the interior lighting industry and was from Acuity Brands Lighting. Model predictions where compared to measurements and agreed to within 10%.
