I encourage my @CUEngineering students to try @Twitter, sharing what they learn with everyone. I require class participation in class, and tweeting counts. I review all tweets with the designated hashtags (#envtox, #airpollution) monthly. I delete points if there are no tweets. Some students are resistant to twitter. If they use @instagram I also allow them to post there, but they have to email me their posts. If they don’t like social media at all then they have to write a blog for me and I tell them that I may post it on my blog.
They’re lucky to be @CUBoulder students, and it is important to share what they are learning with others.
