Tess Bloom

Tess is a current MS student in the Environmental Engineering program at CU Boulder. She is working on research with Professor Shelly Miller to determine the connection between weatherization and indoor air quality, specifically radon.Picture1

Tess is a Colorado native and grew up in Lakewood, a suburb of Denver. She graduated from Colorado State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. What drove Tess towards environmental engineering was the opportunity to be on the forefront of improving public health and make a global impact through engineering.

Tess is an avid reader and can often be found either reading or browsing bookstores in her free time. She enjoys both singing and playing the piano along with spending time with her husband, Daniel, who is a PhD student in Philosophy at CU Boulder.
